The Gold Mountain CSDinvites all members of the Community to attend. The format of an Open Meeting Workshop allows for community participants to hear discussion however the public, unless invited to engage, remain as silent observers. This workshop will allow for the board to engage in learning more on this important topic including, projected costs and the anticipated change a re-organization of fire services would bring to Gold Mountain CSD and the Nakoma Community. In the event a new fire district is formed, it would include an area currently encompassing fire protection and emergency services of Sierra Valley Fire, Beckwourth Fire, City of Portola, Eastern Plumas Fire, C-Road Community Services District and Gold Mountain Community Services District.
